Sulfate Water Deposit Study Initiated in Clark County
The State Health Department Environmental Health Bureau announced an intensive study of possible sulfate water deposits in Clark County. New assistant director Dave Green said a deposit was found southwest of Las Vegas and that surveys of all county deposits are underway to locate and assess extent. No contaminated supplies were found, but the deposits pose laxative concerns for regular use amid a building boom.
