Hearse thief given five years probation in LA case

Samuel Minatta, 25, received five years probation after stealing a hearse, a coffin and a body before a funeral then taking a 150 mile joy ride. CHP chased the vehicle at speeds up to 125 mph through the Coachella Valley. A mortuary official said services proceeded with a replacement casket and no body was recovered.
