Boise Cascade Corp. reported final quarter 1976 earnings of 1.05 a share up from 0.45 as sales climbed to 503.65 million from 376.7 million. Net income rose to 30.99 million from 13.44 million with a 12 cent per share capital gain from Latin American investments. For the year the firm earned 100.83 million or 3.42 per share on sales of 1.93 billion, vs 63.89 million or 2.16 per share on 1.46 billion in 1975, aided by a lower tax rate adding 11 cents per share.
