Desert Inn voting reopens on union representation
Desert Inn gaming employees return to the polls today for a second representation election by Casino Employes of Nevada Local 306. The 210 dealers, keno workers and game starters vote from 9 00 to 13 00 and 18 00 to 22 00 in Suite 102 with two NLRB field reps overseeing. Local 306 seeks to resecure bargaining rights after last year's 88 80 vote in favor was overturned by the NLRB on Sept 17 citing last minute campaigning and misrepresentation by a labor agent.
