Air Strikes Delay Casino de Paris Premiere at Dunes
Frederic Apcar's Casino de Paris at the Dunes Hotel is postponed to Monday December 29 due to airline strikes. Twelve cases of costumes from Europe were delayed two weeks in Chicago and Detroit and arrived in Las Vegas on Thursday. Rehearsals were disrupted and showtimes will be 7 45 p m and 11 45 p m from December 29 with special opening invitations. no show December 26 per Jean Magowan.

False Advertising Suit Filed Against Courtesy Motors
A 28 count civil complaint was filed in Clark County District Court against Courtesy Motors at 3800 Boulder Highway and its officers Victor and Tyrone Havas. The suit seeks 65000 in civil damages and an injunction to ban the Havases from selling vehicles in Nevada.
