Las Vegas Woman Approved to Build Hangar at McCarran Airport
County commissioners gave preliminary approval for a Las Vegas woman to build an enclosed hangar at McCarran Airport to house three planes valued over 50 600. The plan includes leasing airport space between Vegas Airmotive and Alamo Airways with a projected hangar cost near 35 000. representatives said the structure would shelter the aircraft during high winds and protect them from the weather.
