The panel also formed a 17 member advisory group on sexual discrimination laws and rejected a study on staff needs and salaries. The commission approved supporting Gov. O'Callaghan to trim aging council expenses and reallocate about 200000 dollars to elderly programs, with a public hearing on funding canceled. The panel received a report showing a 50000 dollar overrun for the last fiscal year due to a longer session, with calls for post budget spending review.
