Clark County Teachers oppose differentiated staff program proposal
Clark County Classroom Teachers Association leaders oppose a pilot differentiated staff proposal before the Clark County School Board. President Frank Valdez argues it would raise teacher-student ratios, replace teachers with non certified personnel, and curtail substitute usage. Bill Bianchi supports some differentiated teaching but warns the plan reduces teachers and requires further investigation before approval. The pilot may start at Fay Horror Elementary School if approved.
