Chief L O Hawks of the Clark County Fire Department announces the Powers Burn Pac new to the Paramedic Program. The rollable cocoon contains a sterile sheet towels gloves gauze pads and a foam pad to cool moist the patient and prevent infection during transport. It also acts as a stretcher and helps manage shock and pain.

Murder nets teen life term for Clark County case
An 18 year old, Cleveland Brooks, received a life sentence in Clark County District Court for second degree murder in the December 29 1975 killing of 31 year old Dennis Downer a computer operator gunned down during a robbery attempt. The group of youths aged 16 to 18 had pleaded guilty to murder.
