Clark County Commissioners may adopt a temporary solution to clean up local wastewaters, potentially saving about 2 million dollars. Cemetery Owner Seeks Approval for New Mortuary on Cemetery Grounds
James G. Wenzel, owner of Paradise Memorial Gardens Cemetery, will seek Clark County Commissioners approval on December 16 to build a mortuary at Eastern Avenue and Patrick Lane. The County Planning Commission unanimously approved the action last Thursday. The mortuary will sit on grounds that already host the cemetery for 12 years, about 1000 feet from McCarran International Airport flight pattern, correcting prior reports.

Five guns including an M1 carbine were recovered from the car of 29 year old Phillip R. Wroughton after an aborted robbery at Centerfold Casino Las Vegas.
