Eugene Murphy longtime Las Vegas hotel executive died Thursday at Kaiser Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles after years of leukemia. He helped shape publicity for Desert Inn and Stardust from 1950 to 1965 and later promoted national events including Ice Capades with Metromedia. Two people were killed four are missing and three remain in critical condition with burns. White House Receives 24 Foot Christmas Tree
