Robbery Sentence Given In North Las Vegas Case
A 25-year-old North Las Vegas man, William E. McGhee of 2109 Jeffrey Ave, was sentenced to 12 years in Nevada State Prison after a district court trial. In October a jury convicted him of robbery for knocking a woman down and grabbing $104 as she loaded groceries, with Judge James Brennan citing two prior convictions.

Public Hearing On Nevada Employer Contribution Schedule Set
A public hearing to set the 1976 employer contribution rate schedule will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the auditorium of the Nevada Employment Security Department at 50 East Third Street, Carson City. The new payroll tax rate takes effect January 1, 1976, with notices to Nevada employers. The taxable wage base rises from 5800 to 6100 dollars per year on the same date.
