Kodelja Back in Jail After Indictment Ties
Free on bail in a $1.2 million kidnapping case, Michael Paul Kodelja was sent back to jail after a hearing tied him to a mob syndicate figure and an alleged August gun purchase. Assistant US Attorney Oscar Goodman suggested the gun was bought to protect Linda Bruno, wife of bodyguard Thomas Joseph Bruno, who beat her in August. Linda Bruno, exercising her Fifth Amendment rights, claimed her husband’s past charges and connected syndicate activity. The judge set bail at $150,000 and ordered Kodelja jailed pending further proceedings.
