IRS says tax collections top 198 billion dollars for 1963
The IRS reports fiscal 1963 tax collections exceeded 198 billion dollars for the year ending July 1, up about six billion from 1962. Poundmaster Announces Three German Shepherds Up For Adoption
Henderson city poundmaster Terry Larkin said three German Shepherd dogs are available for adoption. Two males aged 8 and 18 months and a 3 year old female are ready. He noted no cats remain in the shelter after a rancher took a bobcat to his five acres at Red Rock Canyon. The bobcat was captured by Larkin in a yard on South Texas in Henderson and is boarded until the rancher claims it.
