Baring Won’t Name Presidential Pick for Reelection
U.S. Rep. Walter S. Baring refused to say whom he favors for the Democratic presidential nomination or whether he would back a Democrat if the election goes to the House. He argued naming a favorite could hurt his Nevada reelection bid and criticized ADA as socialist. He also called Richard Ham an errant schoolboy and named Marci Petersen of Las Vegas to speak for him.
