Land fraud case in Pahrump set to finish in October

District Court Judge Keith Hayes scheduled two weeks in October to finish the case accusing Norman Dacus Donald Wilson and Nevada Land Builders of selling land multiple times. Witnesses described buying land in one valley section only to learn it lay far away or in inaccessible terrain. The Nevada Real Estate Division filed the complaint, alleging buyers signed contracts for land up to 15 miles from the shown area and that sales of Pahrump Valley property were misrepresented. The defendants are barred from selling further Pahrump land until the matter is resolved. The trial resumes October 13.

The suit cites a woman told repairs would cost 150 but later learned the cost would be 219 for parts and labor, noting state law limits on changes without owner approval.
