Civil Defense Emergency Unit Delivered to Logandale
A 24 000 pound two hundred bed civil defense emergency unit was delivered to Logandale School for Moapa Valley residents. Elder Elmer Long oversaw acceptance assisted by Charles Pulsipher and Charles Hunt of Logandale. The unit includes a 1500 gallon distillation tank and generators and was stored at Logandale Fire Station with crates elsewhere in the town. Scouts from Overton Logandale and Mesquite participated in related activities and a Nevada archaeological survey report by Shutler and Shutler was announced for sale.
