New DC9 Series Jet Has Fine First Test
The DC9 series 30 first test flight near Long Beach California was called excellent by a four man crew. The test extended from two and a half hours to three hours and twenty seven minutes reaching 30000 feet and 345 mph. The jet flew from Long Beach Airport with several tests at Palmdale to gauge handling and braking.
