UPI Correspondent Accused of Spying For CIA by Russia
Izvestia charged Don Larrimore UPI Warsaw correspondent acted as a CIA agent at European Communist festivals. It claimed he visited the USSR in 1956 and 1987 as a student tourist to contact Soviet students and potential CIA agents. Larrimore denied CIA ties and UPI noted earlier work with Radio Liberty.
