Broadway Las Vegas, the 24th branch in the Southern California chain, advances three weeks ahead in the Boulevard Shopping Center at Desert Inn Road and Maryland Parkway. The $8 million complex will have 152000 square feet on three air conditioned floors, parking for 6000, and innovative design by Charles Luckman and Associates. Construction employs 130 workers with a $33000 weekly payroll. planned openings include Reno 1967, and other sites in San Bernardino and Bakersfield, with completion expected October 31, 1966.
