From a reliable source Fiat Harsha White of Maise Nevada has purchased all timber and sawmill interests of N Clark in the Charleston mountains. White already controlled other timber tract interests giving him control of timber and water up the west Charleston range. He says he plans to sell his entire property including the White ranch in Nye county as a resort area. If completed this would be the largest sale ever in southern Nye county.

Railroads agree on new freight tariff to Nevada cities

Major railroads including Southern Pacific Salt Lake Oregon Short Line Santa Fe and Brock approve a united tariff into Golifield Tonopah Rhyolite and Beatty Nevada. Tecopah Mines Show Valuable Lead Deposit Expansion

Tecopah Consolidated Mines Company manager J. H. Lester reports the Tecopah lead mines are proving very valuable with about 300 tons shipped to Salt Lake smelters and 200 tons awaiting cars. Returns have been received from the first two carloads at a net rate of 28.90 dollars per ton. The property features a 30 horsepower hoist and a speed-dell compressor.
