Mexico Implements Tariff Plan To Boost Home Industry
Mexico City June 17 A coordinated tariff manipulation plan has been adopted by the Otis Rubio government to encourage consumption of home products and aid Mexican producers abroad. The executive department will tax heavily foreign articles while acquiring cheap imports that support home industry. Land Owners Return to Farms in Panhandle Tex
The back to the farm movement in the Panhandle and plains regions of Texas creates a rental shortage as more land shifts from owners in cities or other states to tenants. Many large ranches are divided into farms with thousands of new acres under cultivation while chambers report 400 to 500 rental inquiries per county and no tracts available. A regional immigration brings in home owners and many prospective tenants.
