Mervyn H. Brown of Winnemucca was named grand master at the Nevada F. and A. M. annual session in Las Vegas. Humboldt was chosen as next year’s convention site. Brown succeeds Tracy T. Vegas to Host Next Nevada BPW Convention
Mrs Minnie McDonald of Ely was elected president of the Nevada Federation of Business and Professional Women's clubs at the eighth annual convention held June 12 and 13 in Elko. Las Vegas was chosen as the next convention city. The banquet at the Mayer hotel highlighted the conclave with speaker Mrs Lucille Buchanan Oliver of New York City addressing social and economic issues. Officers elected included Ethel Zimmer Reno first vice president Lourena McLean Fallon second vice president Grace Rowan Pioche recording secretary Edith Green Elko and Mrs Dimmick Reno retiring president honored at a Sunday installation breakfast.
