New Garbage Ordinance Read in Las Ve gas
A new ordinance on garbage collection, drawn by J. P. King, city street superintendent, was read by the city commissioners Thursday night and may face definite action next Tuesday. It edits the old rules, sets fees at 1 dollar monthly for residences and 2.50 for multi family or business sites, and requires contractor offices and bond checks. The measure defines garbage broadly including kitchen waste, offal, screenings, containers, and assorted non combustible materials.
