The Clark County Red Cross calls for 23 tons of wheat flour to aid families with empty larders. Distribution, supervised by Red Cross, will provide about 150 pounds per five person family every 90 days while supplies last. Shipment arrival date uncertain. Earl Brothers to Wed Miss Gladys Cramer in Riverside Inn
Earl Brothers, popular Boulder City resident and part owner of the new theatre, left for Lerton for a Tuesday evening wedding to Miss Gladys Cramer. The ceremony will be at the Mission Inn at Riverside, after which the couple will return. The honeymoon through southern California is postponed due to work. Cramer is daughter of Mr and Mrs N V Cramer of Fullerton and Phoenix, has worked with Yosemite Park association, and holds degrees from Fullerton District Junior College and the University of California Berkeley. She was a Kappa Alpha Theta member. Brothers arrived six weeks ago from Fullerton where he managed the Fox Fullerton theatre.

Cornerstone laid for St Christopher's Church in Boulder City
The cornerstone for St Christopher's Church at the corner of Utah and Wyoming streets was laid this morning in a ceremony starting at 9 30. The church honors the Saint who guided the Christ Child across a river ford. Groundbreaking for the church occurred on April 25 with initial funding of 5000 from the National Council and Bishop Thomas Jenkins securing a year of salary for a full time pastor.
