Legion Elects New Officers for Las Vegas Post

Las Vegas Post of the American Legion elected new officers for the ensuing year despite bad weather and illness. Sam Shaw was chosen Commander and H S Camison Vice-Commander. Other officers include W Hooper Post Auditor Dr Sasa Chaplain A N Vann Sergeant at Arms Earl Eglington Finance Officer and A C Grant Executive Committeeman. The officers will assume duties at the next regular meeting with Christmas Eve's session likely postponed.

Infant Dies Here in Caliente Family Sorrow

The 15 month old infant son of Mr and Mrs Orval Keele of Caliente died at Las Vegas Hospital Sunday evening after a battle with pneumonia. Otto Olson arrived from Caliente to be with his sister and stayed with the family until burial plans were made. Remains were taken to Caliente for burial.

Peter Kudzinowski, already indicted for the murder of a 7 year old boy, confessed to police that he strangled a 5 year old girl in Jersey City last August after luring her away from a CARD OF THANKS.

No Damages Awarded in Auto Wreck Case

In LaMar Fore master vs. George C Baldwin in Justice Court Judge P H Springer awarded no damages to the plaintiff denying $162 65 and taxed costs. Baldwin via Leo A McNamee also denied damages of $50 in the auto wreck case from last month.
