Kiwanis and Rotary clubs of Las Vegas host their annual dinner for the Las Vegas High School Wildcats at the Methodist church basement on Wednesday evening December 15 starting at 7 30. Attendees from both clubs join to honor the team and mark the clubs' appreciation for the Wildcats' community work. Attendance counts in place of the regular Kiwanis and Rotary noon meetings.
Funeral services for Charles G. Duff were held at the Masonic temple. A U P conductor long based in Las Vegas, he died Tuesday morning of pneumonia. Pallbearers included Cc M Atherton E E Dillard H W Bowling N H Hamlin F A Henderson A Jones C W Thompson. The Old Timers club and auxiliary attended. Widow Lillian May Duff resides at 525 South Third Street. His mother and sister live in Pennsylvania.

Berkeley Bunker, newly elected president of the Young Democrats, will be honored at a dinner Saturday evening in the Marine room of the Apache. The event is sponsored by the local Young Democrats led by president Mike Gordon. Reservations may be made through Mrs. Louise Graham or Wendell Bunker.
