Ontario California April 6 UP Police Officer C S Lehman of Upland credited with saving a man and two children from a deadly runaway truck. Samuel B Rowe borrowed a truck loaded with one and a half tons of rocks and two sons on the seat sped down Euclid avenue toward a crowded boulevard as the brakes failed. Lehman swerved his car in front of the runaway vehicle and, after a brief high speed chase, brought both vehicles to a stop by pushing the truck two blocks down the street.
