Currency and high prices resolved by Federal Reserve Board
The Federal Reserve Board states inflation not caused by currency. Per capita circulation rose from 34.53 in 1914 to 48.13 in 1918 and is now 45.16. Reserve money is not currency in circulation. Pay rolls are higher and consumer money remains, so reducing notes would not help. Work and save, increased production and frugality will lower prices.
