Southampton Aug 15 visitors from across the UK and abroad gather for tomorrow's waterplane race around Great Britain with a $25,000 Daily Mail prize. Royal Aero Club routes and rules govern the flight starting here via Dover Yarmouth Scarborough Aberdeen Inverness Oban Dublin and Falmouth back to Southampton. Pilots must alight at each control for ID and total flying time must fit seventy two hours with 30 minute stops at each control not counted. Only British subjects licensed under the Royal Aero Club can enter, each machine carrying a passenger with a combined weight of at least 265 pounds and ballast for any shortage. Machines must be British-built. towing allowed. finish must be in flight at the line.
