The Overland Limited collided with a freight train between Green River and Reel Springs last Thursday morning. The wreck killed at least nine and injured many. fire broke out among the cars of ties at the front of the freight, spreading to the passenger train. Named dead include Frank A. Peterson and J. F. Philippar of Cheyenne James Brink and T. S. Smith of Rawlins Curly Stitzer of Ogden and Frank McKenna of Omnlin. Blame remains uncertain though the freight conductor is suspected.
