Train Plunges Off Embankment in North Platte

North Platte Nebraska January 26 Union Pacific train No 7 the Low Angelon Limited derailed on a 60 foot embankment after a wheel under a baggage car broke. Several passengers were aboard including Mrs Tritscheller en route to Laramie Wyoming miraculously unharmed. The accident left tracks badly damaged and disrupted service for over twelve hours.
