Fifteenth Annual Commencement at University of Wyoming

The University of Wyoming held its fifteenth annual commencement last night in the auditorium with twenty graduates recognized for completing their programs.

Geologic Work in Wyoming by U S Geological Survey

In summer 1906, the United States Geological Survey crews will operate in 44 states and five territories. A reconnaissance of the oil and coal fields in southwestern Wyoming will be led by A Venteh and A R Schulte under M R Campbell. Arnold Hague will finish his Yellowstone monograph while Ow Weed concludes hot springs studies. Underground water investigations will be led by C A Fisher, mineral statistics by BE Porter, and J M Bannon oversees topographic work in the Younts Peak quadrangle and triangulation across Yellowstone Forest Reserve. Institute Closes After Four Day Session With Music Solos

Cattle Suffering From Poison At Nash Ranch

Cattle owned by Mr Crout renting the Nash ranch south of the city are being investigated for poisoning. Veterinary surgeon Whitehouse and Mr Leslie Gooding conduct tests to determine if a fungus on plantain on the ranch causes the illness.
