Annual Albany County Teachers Institute Opens
The twentieth annual institute for Albany county teachers met at the cart side school building with about fifty attendees. Mrs. Emma Howell Knight presided, Emma Nagel served as secretary, and Rev. Frank L. Moore spoke on education’s value. A banquet at the Presbyterian church and talks on monetary systems and geography followed, with many teachers listed as present.

Find Corpse of an Unknown Man on the Laramie River
The sheriff and coroner were notified Saturday morning of a body found on the Laramie River about 75 miles northwest of Fort Collins. The man’s identity is not known and may not be determined until officials arrive. Covener Hollowell and Deputy Sheriff Lowery began the long drive within an hour of the notice.
