Unusual Divorce Case in Box City Missouri

In Box City on June 13 C F Gill a bricklayer of 1622 Nebraska Street won a divorce from Mary Gill his wife and her mother Nancy Gavitt after a contested petition. The couple cited desertion while Mrs Gill claimed cruel and inhuman treatment. Judge Gaynor granted the divorce, noting Mrs Gill’s residence in Loramie and her prior marriage, with circumstances long known locally.

University Notes Medal Awards and Special Assembly

Cheyenne June 18 Local agents of the big four packing houses report a dramatic fall in Wyoming sales, over 75 percent, due to the expose of Packingtown merchants. Merchants refuse to place orders, raising concerns that the big packing firms may be driven out of business.
