Sheriff Cook attorney Grosebeck and Paul Bath returned from the Hansen ranch at Sheep Mountain where a foreclosed property owned by Glidden Bouston was offered. The sale included 12 head of cattle six horses and ranch implements and was won by Ole Thompson.
Sheridan Wych June 8 Thomas Sanders a coal miner met a horrible death yesterday after being bitten to death in a pit of slaked wine near the Dietz coach mines. Sanders had been drinking and was returning home when he fell into the pit and managed to crawl free but was fatally burned, dying shortly after.

Cheyenne June 9 Deputy Sheriff Les Sioy returned from a trip along the Union Pacific in search of Pedro Lara wanted for alleged murder. Lara was traced to several work gangs but all clues were lost in Uinta County as Snow pressed the search for weeks.
Through her attorney Mabel Nite Aled petitions for divorce from Geo H Nagle on grounds of extreme cruelty. Court actions show property settlements of $10,000 real estate and $15,600 personal property, recently transferred to Nagle. Formerly Mike Yates she has lived in Cheyenne, married Geo Mage in 1898. Nagle presided at Mercantile company and other ventures. Deputy state s e was granted a decree of divorce for Bite Fuller in new Ohio, where she has been this year.
Union Pacific plans to extend a spur south of town by two miles within sixty days to load lime stones directly onto cars at the quarries. The project aims to reduce handling and hauling, reflecting growing demand for Minestone used in sugar metals in Colorado and increasing freight volumes for the railroad.

Omaha June 9 The last of the shopmen's strike ends as blacksmiths reach settlement with President Burt and Superintendent McKeen. One-day return to work next Tuesday with old workers recalled within 30 days, a 10 percent pay increase, nine-hour day, and nonunion staffing to be adjusted. About 200 blacksmiths and helpers affected, 75 outside Omaha shops.
