The Missouri River dropped seven inches in eight hours while the Kaw fell eight inches. streets remain dark as seven streetcar lines resume service. Reports of heavy loss of life are false, but property damage is enormous. Armourdale is submerged with entire city ruined, water up to twenty feet in places and 16,000 residents displaced.

Resignation of Rev Warren Nice at First Baptist Church

The Rev Warren Nice has resigned from the pastorate of the First Baptist Church in a thin city. He has no definite plan yet but has several promising offers, possibly from Denver, and may accept one. Death of Infant on The Yellowstone Limited

Machinists Strike Settled After Settlement Terms

The Omaha area article reports a union dispute ending with a settlement.
