University investigation into Dr Morton charges

Tomorrow afternoon at 2 o clock the investigation of the university scandal will be held in the auditorium. The board of regents State Bank Examiner Henderson and the president of the university will conduct the investigation and announce that there were no grounds for Prof Morton s charges. Morton will arrive tonight from Collins but is not coming willingly. If the inquiry is not open to the public many wish to attend and hear him swear to the charges. The Boomerang will report whether the session is public or closed.

Trains to Omaha Run Earlier Under UP Schedule

The Omaha Bee reports Union Pacific trains to and from Omaha will depart earlier starting June 9 improving on time for No. 1 through No. 14 and the Overland services. Officials say the changes align with a Western road agreement to lengthen running time west of Chicago to better meet schedules. Exact arrival and departure times at Laramie are not yet fixed, but overall trends move trains closer to timetable targets.
