Clara Hamon the alleged slayer of Jake Hamon fled into Texas by car after failing to find an airplane in Dallas. Her chauffeur says she was in Dallas on Tuesday seeking exit to Mexico and then traveled by road toward the border.
Four people including Mrs Pauline Elmer then Mrs Henry her son Ernest Hopson and Annie B Cutts are arrested in a Georgia case tied to the death of fruit magnate Fred Shepard alleged to have been poisoned with bichloride of mercury. Authorities seek to prove a conspiracy amid wealth and Southern farming ties.
Ogden Utah Dec 1 Quadrup les arrived at the Knight farm near here this morning. Three of the four children are boys and the fourth is a girl. The mother and her new flock of kiddies are reported to be making favorable progress.

A 26 man US reclamation service crew starts work in Shoshone canyon to build a hydroelectric project on the Shoshone river. The aim is 6200 horsepower for settlers in the Shoshone project with surplus to towns and individuals. Plans include a dam above Corbett diversion dam, a long tunnel, an open cut, Hart mountain tunneling, and a siphon under the river. Initial turbines will produce 4100 horsepower with full development awaiting more turbines.
In Rock Springs Wye December 1 two men named White and Riley Conrad are held following the death of James Miller at a fight near Meageath coal camp. Miller died from a single deep neck to groin slash and died within minutes.
The League of Nations membership commission voted the recommendation that Austria be admitted to the league today. It is probable the commission will act immediately, and there is unlikely to be opposition to the proposal.
