Better Schools Public Holiday Observed in Saskatchewan
By order of the Lieutenant Governor June 30 is a public holiday to promote interest in education. Dr Foght an American educational expert surveys the school problem in the province. Meetings will be held in towns and cities, with suitable addresses and educational articles to follow.

Wolfe school house dance aids Red Cross fundraiser
A Wolfe community event at the Wolfe school house drew over 100 attendees from Landis and Cavell. Ice cream ran short while 280 raffle tickets sold for a Morris reclining chair won by Miss G. Binghan, raising about $80 for the Red Cross. A follow up meeting is set at Mrs. Bakers on Saturday the 20th at three.
