Four Men In Disguise Kill Two Ser geants In Galway Home

In Galway on March 16 four masked assailants entered the home of Sergeant Gibbons and Gilmartin, killing them and wounding a constable. Earlier three masked men attacked the workhouse hospital, killing Patrick Camidy and two Royal Irish Constabulary sergeants. The nurses were at supper when the attack occurred.

Lander Team Out of Contests Following Losses at Laramie

Lander basketballers were eliminated at Laramie after losses to Cow ley 4 to 8 and Sher sida n 18 to 9, ending their season as two defeats remove them from further play. Edith Morse dies after cancer operation at Bishop hospital

Edith Morse Sturdevant died early this morning at Bishop Rondall Hospital after an emergency cancer operation. Her daughters Mrs Elliott Olver of St Paul and Mrs Wagene Kimi of Chicago are due Saturday, while she leaves Juan and Peggy in Lander. Born Edith Sturdevant in Bradfeed Virginia she lived there 17 years before moving to Fort Washule and later Lander. Her husband Richard Morse died six years ago. Community sympathy flows to her bereaved children. Sergeant George Pfeiffer left Lander for Douglas to instruct troops that day. he has 12 years in the U.S. Cavalry and previously served in Lanier for time on a similar duty.
