A blaze in the boiler room at Mine No. 1 near Hudson yesterday afternoon destroyed the boiler house, garage, store house, and four Buick cars owned by miners. Despite early alarms and help from Lander, Hudson, and Hindon, strong winds and initial equipment shortages hampered crews. origin remains undetermined and strike-related disruptions were noted.

London June 22 Field Marshal Sir Henry Hughes Wilson was shot and killed outside his Eton Square home. Two assailants were arrested after firing three revolvers as he stepped from an automobile. Wilson, former Chief of the Imperial Staff, had given a speech earlier in Liverpool Street in connection with a war memorial unveiling.

Dynamite Blast Kills Wyoming Official William K. Carson

William K. Carson of Dubois, a longtime Wyoming resident and Fremont County representative, was killed by a premature dynamite blast while overseeing State Highway Department blasting 13 miles above Dubois on the Rocky Mountain Highway. Mass killings at Strip Mine in Illinois labor clash
