Farm Women 15 Elect Two Officers at Hope School Meeting

At Hope School Kirkwood Road the Farm Women 15 elected Mrs. Martin Greenleaf recording secretary and Mrs. Chester L. Ross treasurer. President Mrs. John Frantz presided as the group approved donations to the Community Drive American Cancer Society Arthritis and Rheumatism Foundation and sponsored a Solanco High School girl in the Miss Solanco Contest.

Farm Women 8 Host 4-H Show

The Society of Farm Women 8 hosted the Elizabeth town Donegal 4-H flower and vegetable club roundup at Mrs. Paul Erb's Mount Joy home. Judge was Mrs. Harold Fry. First prize winners included Cynthig land for 1st year flowers and Donna Hossler for 4th flowers as well as other top garden and vegetable awards. County president Mrs. Kenneth Eshiey spoke.
