New Hog Production Compound Aims to Aid Artificial Insemination
England developed and patented compound now under FDA review for farm use. It could let hog producers give targeted feed to breeding sows for 20 days to synchronize heat, enabling practical artificial insemination and unified farrowing, reducing costs and disease cycles while boosting lean pork supply.
