Oregonians Named Farm Family of the Year by FmHA
The James R Ottoman family of Malin Oregon is announced as the Farmers Home Administration National Farm Family of the Year by Secretary Earl L Butz after a year of national and state level judging. They own 167 acres and 90 leased, raise potatoes alfalfa and barley with irrigation and soil improvement. The Ottomans are active community leaders and volunteers with multiple family members serving in local boards and clubs.
