Chester County 4-H County Council Meeting Recap

Pam Taws was elected president and led the Chester County 4-H Council in a session covering Capitol Days in Harrisburg, Spring Fair exhibits, the multi county weekend, and plans for 4-H Regional Day. Delegates discussed delegate duties, refreshments, and a family picnic date while treasurer duties were balanced.

Saddle Cinches 4-H Club Plans Future Events

Saddle Cinches 4-H Horse and Pony Club held its May meeting at Margaret Keeney's home with 16 members, three leaders, three parents and a guest. Jackie Wendler and Keeney led a horse terms demonstration. Lori Zerphey presided. Old business covered glass recycling bake sale June events and Gymkhanna. new business sought county ride and a September roller skating party plus a trip to Cawton Rodeo. The next meeting is June 16 at Keeney's Manheim RD4 with two demonstrations by Shultz Miller and Smith.
