Recreation loans expand to farms for ponds cabins and trails
Farmers Home Administration offers loans to family farmers and rural groups for recreation enterprises on farms. Eligible projects include ponds lakes camping facilities stables and sports grounds with terms up to 40 years for real estate loans and up to 7 years for operating costs. Nonprofit rural groups may borrow up to one million dollars at up to 3 percent interest.
