Young Wildlife Should Stay In The Wild Remains Reminder
The Pennsylvania Game Commission warns it is illegal to take protected wild birds or young wildlife. Executive Director M. J. Golden urges vacationers and outdoors people to avoid handling nests or young animals as mothers seldom desert their young and captivity is unfeasible. Penalties range up to 200 dollars for bears and 25 dollars for game birds, with guidance to contact a field officer if young wildlife are found.
