State Turkey Calling Contest Set At Franklin County Fair
The fourth annual Pennsylvania State Turkey Calling Contest will be held Saturday August 24 at 1 30 p m as a closing activity of the Franklin County Fair sponsored by the Franklin County Federation of Sportsmen's Clubs. The Chambersburg Rod and Gun Club hosts the event on Route 995 near Williamson southwest of Chambersburg. Judges include Eugene Nelson Dr Roger Latham and William Britton. There is no entry fee and competitors must have not won two years in a row. Competitive trap shooting for cash prizes runs alongside the contest.
