Eastern Milk Producers weigh Class II milk pricing shift
A representative of the Producers Cooperative Association told a gathering of 25 dairymen in New Holland that Eastern Milk is opposed to a unified northeast milk marketing system and favors three federal orders. He outlined plans to price class three milk in the New York area using the Minnesota Wisconsin USDA price as a basis. Separate orders would cover Boston to New England, the New York milkshed, and the mid Atlantic region including Philadelphia and Baltimore.
